Ralph Posner brings nearly 30 years of political and policy experience in the public sector and across numerous industries to the pursuit of strategic communications objectives on behalf of his clients.


In addition to designing and planning communications strategy in his work as partner at Seven Letter, Ralph leads Seven Letter’s Grassroots & Grasstops Practice. In this role, he manages Seven Letter’s 50-state field network of communications experts working to mobilize on-the-ground voices to advance clients’ interests.


Previously, Ralph served as Executive Vice President of JDA Frontline, which merged with Blue Engine Message & Media in 2018 to form Seven Letter.


Prior to joining JDA Frontline, Ralph was Executive Vice President at Direct Impact, a national grassroots agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of Burson Cohn & Wolfe. While there, he led numerous grasstops, grassroots and public affairs campaigns for a wide array of clients, including multinational corporations, industry associations, foreign governments and non-profit organizations.


Ralph also served as Senior Vice President and Partner at FleishmanHillard, leading the agency’s public affairs group in Washington. During his 11 years with the firm, he applied his background in media relations, crisis communications, grassroots engagement and partnership development to advance his clients’ interests.


Ralph spent six years working on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide to both Senator Bill Bradley (D-NJ) and Representative John LaFalce (D-NY), advising on numerous policy issues.


Ralph is a native of New Jersey and graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in Political Science and Economics. He sits on the Washington Leadership Council of the George Eastman Circle, a core group of leaders working to chart the University of Rochester’s future.
