Trevor specializes in corporate reputation and issue management, and is responsible for a number of issue, advocacy and cause campaigns aimed at shaping public perception and influencing government decision-making.

Trevor Francis has more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of politics, government and public relations.

At Seven Letter, Trevor specializes in corporate reputation and issue management, and is responsible for a number of issue, advocacy and cause campaigns aimed at shaping public perception and influencing government decision-making. Previously, Trevor served as President of JDA Frontline, which merged with Blue Engine Message & Media in 2018 to form Seven Letter.


Prior to JDA Frontline, Trevor was a Senior Vice President and Partner at FleishmanHillard. There, he led a wide array of national and state advocacy and grassroots campaigns. He also provided strategic communications, media relations and issues management counsel to clients confronting reputational challenges.


Trevor previously served as Communications Director for the Republican National Committee. In this role, Trevor served as chief spokesperson and strategist tying together earned and paid media, technology, and research to advance the party’s message and agenda on Capitol Hill, in state capitals and among grassroots organizations.


Trevor’s tenure at the RNC followed more than five years at Burson-Marsteller, a global public relations firm, where he was a managing director. There, he managed a number of issue campaigns including efforts aimed at influencing potential actions by Congress, state legislature and federal regulatory bodies such as the Food and Drug Administration and Environmental Protection Agency.


Trevor has significant experience in the executive branch, having served in communications positions at the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Commerce. In both agencies, he played key roles in support of Administration priorities including Trade Promotion Authority, tax cuts and other policy initiatives.


Furthermore, the political experience gained from four presidential campaigns and multiple Congressional races gives Trevor the battle-tested mindset and campaign metabolism that clients expect from Seven Letter.


Trevor grew up in Montville, New Jersey and graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Political Science.
