Sidewire Inc. announced that long-time political reporter and columnist Jonathan Allen has been named as head of community and content for the mobile app. He began his new role authoring a new 60-second thread of interactive text called the Stitch and he explained more about his move in a post on Medium.Prior to this announcement, Allen co-authored the New York Times-bestselling book “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton,” and is a veteran of POLITICO, Vox, Bloomberg and Roll Call, where he remains a columnist. He is also an adjunct professor at Northwestern University.
