Before joining Seven Letter, Abbey served a Constituent Services Representative for former U.S. Representative John Katko, who was known for regularly reaching across party lines to successfully advance legislation.
At U.S. Representative John Katko's office, Abbey focused on immigration casework where she connected constituents with federal agencies like the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Prior to that role, she interned in Representative Katko’s Washington, D.C., office and his District Office in Syracuse, New York.
Born and raised in Northern New York, Abbey is no stranger to the cold and snow. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Writing Studies. After graduation, Abbey completed a fellowship at Seven Letter before joining the team on a full-team basis.
