Alfonso Hidalgo is a communications professional with experience helping corporations, nonprofits and coalitions achieve their strategic communications plans and public affairs goals.
At Seven Letter, Alfonso develops content for social and earned media campaigns, monitors news coverage and provides research and analysis in support of clients across an array of issue areas, including copyright law, housing, safety and transportation. Previously, Alfonso was a fellow at Blue Engine Media & Message, which merged with JDA Frontline in 2018 to form Seven Letter.
Prior to joining Seven Letter, Alfonso interned at the New England Council, where he was responsible for tracking and reporting on legislative policy developments and the planning and staffing of Council events including the Capital Conversations Series featuring members of Congress and other federal leaders.
Alfonso pursued his interest in public policy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Social Research Analysis Certificate and Master of Public Policy. He is a graduate of the Academic Leadership Fellows Program and a native of Dorchester, MA. He enjoys boxing, running and spending quality time with family.
