Chris Billeter has spent the last 10 years – nearly his entire career – as a digital strategist in political communications and public affairs.
At Seven Letter, Chris works with a wide array of clients to help them create and manage their online identity, enhance their social media presence, develop their digital messaging and expand their reach among key audiences and stakeholders. His portfolio includes everything from creating online content to advising on digital strategy to executing award-winning digital campaigns, in addition to more traditional communications and public affairs support.
Prior to Seven Letter, Chris spent five years working for JDA Frontline, which merged with Blue Engine Message and Media in 2018 to form Seven Letter. Before that, he served as the Deputy Digital Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, helping the NRCC and its campaigns shape and execute their online efforts. Working closely with campaigns and committee staff, Chris helped individual campaigns embrace digital tools and tactics and created, developed and executed national campaigns on behalf of the committee.
Chris’s previous experience also includes public affairs work as part of the digital team at the DCI Group, where he was responsible for all aspects of their digital efforts. Before his time with DCI Group, Chris was a consultant for FRANEO where he specialized in online mass communication.
Chris lives in Arlington, VA, and graduated from the American University with BAs in Political Science and Communications, Legal Institutions Economics and Government (CLEG). He’s originally from Allendale, NJ, which was a popular vacation spot for baseball great Babe Ruth.
