Kara Ferguson is a veteran communications professional with extensive experience designing and executing strategic communications and advertising campaigns.

At Seven Letter, Kara is responsible for overseeing clients’ digital content strategies, including the development and maintenance of online properties and execution of social media campaigns, both paid and earned. As head of design and creative, she oversees and produces graphics and videos, in addition to supporting overall strategy for print and digital amplification. Kara also organizes and produces events ranging from book talks to TEDx events, managing general logistics, run of show and collateral development.

Previously, Kara worked for Blue Engine Message & Media, which merged with JDA Frontline in 2018 to form Seven Letter. At Blue Engine, Kara was named one of PR News Rising Stars Under 30, recognizing her written and visual design work on digital campaigns that included everything from proactive and reactive corporate and non-profit communications to a campaign to free detained U.S. citizens in the United Arab Emirates.

Kara has prior experience in opinion research, marketing, public relations and design. A Cincinnati native, Kara graduated from Denison University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art.
