Mark Detlor is a rising communications professional with experience supporting the policy and public affairs goals of corporations, nonprofits, and industry associations.
At Seven Letter, Mark provides research and analysis for clients across an array of issues – including labor, technology, and health care – monitors news coverage, and develops content for earned and social media campaigns.
Prior to joining Seven Letter, Mark interned at an array of policy-focused nonprofit organizations in the District, supporting their public affairs goals. In those roles, he was responsible for tracking legislative developments, drafting content, and engaging in constituent outreach.
Mark graduated from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is an alumnus of the Politics & Values cohort. During his time at GW, he served as a resident advisor, working with the administration to design initiatives aimed at increasing engagement with upperclassmen residents. He was also president of the Alpha Pi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon.
