Mike Treon has more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of digital media and technology, developing the solutions that helped define the rise of digital advertising. Mike has spent his career building technology, strategies and advertising solutions for top publishers, platforms and advertisers.
Mike comes to Seven Letter Labs via the 2019 acquisition of Tessio Labs. He develops and executes digital media strategies on behalf of Seven Letter’s clients and helps lead Seven Letter’s team of digital strategists. His expertise is in programmatic advertising, data strategies, platform-based media executions, data management practices and advertising technology.
Mike spent the majority of his career with Advertising.com, AOL and eventually Verizon. In his ten years at iterations of that company, Mike worked closely with the company’s global top 100 advertisers as well as product and engineering teams to build and execute programmatic strategies and a billion-dollar ad product. Mike worked on a number of mergers and acquisitions, including the $4B purchase of AOL by Verizon. Mike led Global Advertiser Product Strategy for Verizon and is considered an industry expert within the market, having been named to AdAge’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2015.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Roanoke College in Virginia. When he’s not online, Mike is also a co-owner of a craft brewery and brewpub in Pennsylvania.
