Previously, Sam interned at a strategic communications firm where he supported government and non-profit client teams. He also has experience interning in communications at a non-profit organization and on Capitol Hill.

Sam is from New Hampshire and graduated from American University in 2021 with a BA in Political Science and Public Relations and Strategic Communication. He received his MA in Political Communication from American University in 2022. During his time at American, Sam received a certificate from the Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute.

In his spare time, Sam enjoys playing chess.
