Sarah’s career began in journalism, where she honed her storytelling skills covering national politics.
As a campaign embed for CNN, she traveled across the country covering Joe Biden’s 2020 ascent to the presidency. She went on to cover the White House and Congress under the Biden administration for Axios, breaking news and frequently sharing her reporting and analysis on networks like MSNBC, C-SPAN, CBS and others.
Most recently, she worked at a leading national agency developing and executing complex communications and project plans. She secured coverage for clients in top-tier outlets like NBC, CNN, and The New York Times and built strong relationships with bookers, producers, and reporters across the media landscape. Notably, Sarah played a pivotal role in the media campaign to bring hostages in Gaza home, amplifying their stories and generating public support.
Sarah is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where she shares her knowledge and insights on media and politics with the next generation of leaders and thinkers. She designed an undergraduate seminar on the effect of media on the American voter, drawing on her own reporting and research.
While born and raised in small-town USA (Antioch, Illinois, specifically), Sarah’s first language was Polish, which she still speaks fluently. She also speaks French and Spanish proficiently. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she graduated with honors.
