Blue Engine Adds Jessica Borchert & Christine Sanders

WASHINGTON — Blue Engine Message & Media is pleased to announce two new hires to their strategic communications team.  Jessica Borchert and Christine Sanders join the senior strategists at Blue Engine in creating, developing and implementing strategic public policy campaign plans for corporations, coalitions, non-profits and national trade associations.

Jessica Borchert comes to Blue Engine after having served as deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Tom Udall (NM) where she developed and implemented communications plans on issues ranging from transportation and clean energy to border security and small business.  She brings with her deep expertise in long-term communications planning and the deployment of innovative tactics for social media advocacy.

Christine Sanders joins Blue Engine following a vibrant career in television production that included positions with CNN’s Los Angeles Bureau, the Food Network and the Cooking Channel.  Most recently, Sanders wrote and produced on-air marketing campaigns for MTV’s college network, mtvU.  It was through these on-air campaigns that she connected corporate sponsors to advocacy efforts such as clean water and financial aid for college to the millions of MTV viewers.
