WASHINGTON — Blue Engine Message & Media turns 8 this month amidst a year of tremendous growth and is launching a revamped digital hub that showcases the firm’s strategic communications capabilities, cutting-edge digital offerings and highly talented team.

“Our success over the last eight years has been based on delivering results for our clients and we are proud to earn their trust at times of calm, crisis and opportunity,” said Blue Engine founder Erik Smith. “I am privileged and honored to work with such a dedicated and talented team and as our practice continues to grow, I could not be more excited to see where the future leads.”

“It’s the talent and diverse experience of our team that sets us apart from others and allows us to achieve so much on behalf of our clients,” said Blue Engine partner David Di Martino. “The industry is changing rapidly and our goal is to stay ahead of that pace and continue to offer innovative solutions to complex challenges.”

Founded in 2006 as a sole proprietorship, Blue Engine has grown to a 17-person practice. Based in Washington DC, Blue Engine provides innovative strategic communications solutions to the complex challenges facing corporations, non-profits and advocacy groups particularly when their reputation, brand or market position faces a threat or opportunity.

Blue Engine also recently announced the addition of Andreia DeVries to its growing team of strategic communications counselors. Prior to joining Blue Engine, Andreia worked at DCI Group where she developed her skills in writing, media outreach and grassroots operations across a wide range of political issues. Andreia is Blue Engine’s fifth new hire this year.
