CNN adds Kaitlan Collins as White House correspondent

Reporter Kaitlan Collins is joining CNN to be one of the news channel’s on-air White House correspondents. Collins heads to CNN after three years at The Daily Caller.

Before joining CNN, Collins covered the 2016 presidential election and the early days of Donald Trump’s presidency, where she was one of two American journalists to ask a question at a joint press conference between President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Collins expressed excitement for the move and announced she was starting on Monday.
