Daniel Newhauser is joining Vice News as a senior political reporter to cover Capitol Hill and the 2020 elections.

Newhauser most recently covered the House of Representatives as a staff correspondent for the National Journal. He was also formerly a House leadership reporter for Roll Call.

He announced his move in a tweet saying, “I’m very excited to start this week as senior political reporter for Vice News. Yes, I’ll still be based in DC, yes I’ll still be covering Capitol Hill, but I’ll also be covering 2020 and all things politics in between.”
