USA Today’s chief congressional reporter Susan Davis is heading to National Public Radio (NPR) to cover Congress. Davis is a veteran Capitol Hill reporter, having served as a congressional correspondent for National Journal prior to working at USA Today, and as the lead writer for The Wall Street Journal’s “Washington Wire” political blog before that. She also brings experience from stints at Roll Call, CongressDaily, and the Almanac of American Politics. News of Davis’ transition was tweeted by USA Today’s Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page who praised her colleague and congratulated her on the move.
