Seven Letter, an expertise-powered bipartisan strategic communications firm with offices in Washington and Boston, today announced the addition of Sarah Mucha as a Senior Director to its growing team of communicators. The firm announced two additional new hires in their Washington, D.C. office.

Sarah began her career in journalism as a campaign embed for CNN, where she traveled across the country covering Joe Biden’s 2020 ascent to the presidency. She went on to cover the White House and Congress under the Biden administration for Axios, breaking news and frequently sharing her analysis on networks like MSNBC, C-SPAN and CBS.

“Our clients face the challenges of breaking through a crowded media landscape every day. Sarah is adept at crafting strategies that allow clients to harness the power of the media to amplify their stories in traditional and non-traditional channels alike,” said Founding Partner Trevor Francis. “Sarah has already proven to be a vital partner to our clients.”

Most recently, Sarah worked at a leading national agency developing and executing complex communications and project plans. She secured coverage for clients in top-tier outlets like NBC, CNN, and The New York Times and built strong relationships with bookers, producers, and reporters across the media landscape. Notably, Sarah played a pivotal role in the media campaign to bring hostages in Gaza home, amplifying their stories and generating public support.

Sarah is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where she shares her knowledge and insights on media and politics with the next generation of leaders and thinkers.

Also joining the firm are content specialists Julia Pekala and Terrah Mack. While both recently completed the Seven Letter Fellowship Program, Julia returns to Seven Letter after serving as a Field Organizer on the Harris-Walz presidential campaign in New Hampshire. As an organizer, she expanded direct voter contact efforts, built relationships with local stakeholders and organizations, and developed a robust volunteer leadership team in the city of Manchester. A recent American University graduate, Terrah started her graduate school journey at American University, studying Political Communication.
